This contemporary kitchen design combines modern with traditional elements to create a unique and beautiful design.
The tall Shaker cabinets, painted in ‘Graphite’, are home to an integrated upright fridge and freezer along with a stylish built-in oven, microwave and warming drawer. The full height units maximise storage space around the appliances, ensuring plenty of room for household items.
The minimalist ‘Light Grey’ handle-less throughout the kitchen is softened by the addition of exposed oak wall cabinets, which complement the oak flooring, adding a delightful warmth to the room
The removal of an internal wall allowed for an open plan kitchen diner, with a clever breakfast bar peninsula creating an unobtrusive divide between the living and cooking spaces at each end of the room.

How did you find the design process?
‘Jamie was very prompt sending over our initial design and made some fantastic design suggestions to evolve what we had in mind, making the kitchen perfect for the space we had. He also made sure we maximised natural light in the room, by suggesting the addition of French doors leading out into the garden from our dining area.’
What is your favourite part of your new kitchen?
‘Our Quooker Flex tap is our favourite part of the kitchen and gets lots of comments from visitors to our home. However most importantly, we really like the space created and how it is great for all the family; you no longer feel isolated if you are in one part of the house, as it is much more sociable and open plan.’
